Tasers, Stunguns and the Law
Tasers and stunguns are not toys, they are dangerous weapons and should be handled with care. If you would like to buy a stun gun or a taser, there are restrictions you should be aware of. No one acting within the law will ship tazers or stunguns to: Canada, MA, MI, NJ, NY, HI, RI WI and some other municipal localities.
It also might not be legal to carry a Taser or stungun on your person or as a concealed weapon. It is your responsibility to determine the legality of carrying a weapon before using it as anything other than household protection. Please always remember that you possess and use a stun weapon at your own risk. Background checks are required for every Taser purchase. The weapon will be shipped to you with the lock on and will only be deactivated on completion of the check. If you have a felony conviction, you will not be cleared to own a taser.
Never bring a taser or stungun into a government or public building, travel terminal or school.
When travelling by air, pack your Taser in with your checked luggage. Do not attempt to carry it onboard on your person on in your carry- on luggage.
